The Directory of Open Access Journals (http://www.doaj.org) is a great resource for online courses. Open access journals are free online for readers. As of today, there were over 1200 scholarly (though not necessarily peer-reviewed) listed. 318 journals are searchable on the article level, or journals can be browsed by subject or title, or searched by keyword (in the journal titles and notes). The following subject categories are listed, many of which have sub-categories, such as Social Sciences, which has Education and Library and Information Sciences as sub-categories.
